Speaker - Paul HaydockPaul Haydock is a member of the Training & Risk Consulting team at CGE Risk Management Solutions. His role includes the development and delivery of training and coaching for CGE clients around the globe. As a Training and Risk Consultant for the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region, Paul supports clients and partners in the whole range of BowTieXP services, from client needs analysis, sales support, training, mentoring and consulting.

Paul came to CGE with 6 years’ solid experience in BowTie and BowTieXP risk management theory, application and training. With qualifications and experience in safety and risk management, safety and risk training and advanced use of BowTieXP and Incident Investigation software, Paul has successfully delivered BowTie training and consulting sessions in Asia, Canada, USA, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Although some of the 3 and 4 day training events were supported by live translation, Paul has a record of engaging participants from all cultures and organisational levels.

Adequate preparation and in-session flexibility to the knowledge and capabilities of each participant has enabled Paul to facilitate learning in a range of jurisdictions, industries and companies. These include upstream and downstream oil & gas, mining, aviation, marine, petrochemical, environmental, industrial and corporate business risks. Clients have included industry regulators, managers, operators, service companies and consultants.

Assisted by an aptitude for qualitative / quantitative analytical thinking, Paul has also provided BowTie risk consulting services for organisations needing specialist BowTie support. These have included ongoing and special projects, safety cases, annual safety and risk reviews or for short-term relief work. In conducting HAZID workshops for clients, Paul has managed the planning, execution and reporting of risk studies, and is a highly competent user of the BowTieXP software application.
